Arrangements & Rates
Our home is not a high volume rental property. We mainly own it to enjoy ourselves, with family and with close friends, and to leave as a legacy for our children to enjoy when they are grown and have families of their own. We make it available on a select basis to people we know well or through referrals from family and close friends. If you stay in our home, you can rest assurred that it will be a unique and personal experience — like staying in someone’s home, or as if you owned the home yourself, rather than an over-worn rental cottage or a standardized resort hotel.
We of course expect just two things from our guests. One that you enjoy yourselves and make yourself at home and that you let us know if there is anything we can to make your stay better in any way. Two, that you treat our home as if indeed it was yours. We do not allow smoking or pets. We ask that you leave everything as you found it for our next guests to enjoy as much as you did. Of course, accidents and spills happen, and we simply ask that you alert us to anything that needs extra care or cleaning after you leave.
Our home is large but we do not want to discourage couples or a small family from enjoying a stay in Big Canoe. So, our pricing is based on occupancy (and of course the season). Click here to see our rate schedule.
